Successful cooperation between Compact MM Trade and Alumina Factory Birac

This year again, Compact MM Trade has organized the Annual User Conference "Measurement, Regulation and Automation Techniques in the Process Industry".
Once again this event showed us that the direct contact between the customers and representatives of our principal companies is very important and always mutually useful.
Hereby we would like to thank all our guests for active participation during the presentations and also for a very pleasant time that we have spent together.
Contract with Alumina Factory Birac
After successful delivery and commissioning of Distributed Control System (DCS) for plant Zeolit in Alumina Factory Birac in 2009, this February, representatives of Compact MM Trade have signed a new Contract for another DCS in the Power Generation Plant.
Reconstruction is divided in two phases. In the first phase the boiler 4 is being reconstructed and in the second phase ROS, TPV and the turbines.
The contract for the first phase that has been signed now includes the introduction of the existing and new measurements from the reconstructed boiler and the automation of the boiler. In the second phase the existing signals from ROS, TPV and turbines will be automated and introduced into system.
Extension of Yokogawa control system (DCS) in the Sugar Factory Šajkaška
After the successful commissioning of Yokogawa control system (DCS) in the control of product A and product B, Sugar Factory Šajkaška ordered the extension of the control system for evaporation.
Celebration Ada 22.12.2011
Compact MM Trade has celebrated the 21st Anniversary of establishment and successful cooperation with Yokogawa Electric Corporation on Thursday 22.12.2011 in Restaurant Ada.
It is always a pleasure to see our customers and our intention is to continue this tradition.

Compact MM Trade and Yokogawa sponsors of a Champion
Compact MM Trade and Yokogawa were again this year the sponsors of a young Nikola Miljkovic, only 16 years old boy, who is, by winning 2 championships in the hill and circular racing, creating the new history in this segment of national auto sport.
Nikola Miljkovic is the first one who accomplished this much in the premier season, especially considering that he still does not have a driving license.
His success is even greater considering that the mentioned class is the most competitive in the Sports Car Go-Kart Association of Serbia.
We will continue to sponsor young Nikola Miljkovic and to inform you about his future successes.

Vega radiation based sensors for level
In September this year Compact MM Trade has installed Vega/Omarth radiation based sensors for level for FCC plant in NIS Oil Refinery Pancevo.
This was the first installation of these radiation based level instruments in Serbia and also the first installation of this type of Vega instruments in Europe.
Yokogawa at NIS
The modernization of Oil Refinery Pancevo has started in 2009. Investment of NIS Gazprom Neft, at that moment was 470 million Euros.
In December 2009 Yokogawa has signed the contract for the delivery of DCS in the plant Hydrocrecer. Subsequently there was the expansion of a contract with additional equipment for DCS; the project included also the Safety System (ESD). Then the contract for the preliminary design of the Central Control Room was signed and complete equipment for the Control Room was ordered from Yokogawa.
Afterwards the contracts for the delivery of DCS for the "extra" plants were awarded: sulfuric acid regeneration, hydrogen production plant and cooling tower and flayer management.
Together with DCS for these plants also was included:
- Process gas chromatograph
- TDL (Tunable diode laser) for O2 and CO
- Measuring the concentration of H2 and pH values
- Field instrumentation for pressure, deferential pressure and flow measurement.
