• the coke rate relative to the lime weight - within 6.7÷7.5%;
• the gas temperature when leaving the kiln - no more than 100°C;
• the lime temperature when leaving the kiln - maximum 20°C higher than ambient air temperature;
• lime slaking time - no more than 5 minutes - after slaking temperature reaches 80°C;
• the expected (planned) quantity of underburned lime - no more than 5% relative to the lime weight.

The operation of the kiln is characterized by a very high flexibility of its regulation within a high capacity range depending on the total plant capacity, by a high stability of kiln gas composition, a high lime activity and a low rate of underburned lime.
